Will my own NHS Doctor or GP be informed about my Private Consultation?

Not unless you give us your permission to do so. You will be asked during the consultation if you wish for the details of the consultation to be passed on to your own NHS Doctor or not. It is generally important that your Doctor has this information so that your medical records are up to date as possible. However, in some very rare instances we may have to pass the information to your Doctor if there is a situation where failure to pass the information may result in harm to others. In such instances, you will be informed of the decision and the reasons to pass on the information. We are happy to discuss this with you one to one if you wishes or if you have any further question on this subject send an e-mail to info@callthephysician.com or call us on +44 (0) 800 6785196.
